Just Not Very Often.
I very recently “illegally” “maintained” “through” “illegal” “measures” an HUMONGOLOUDGE butt wad of Residents’ music.
I always knew they had rare moments of startling brilliance: disturbing!! masterworks!! hidden amongst the monotone drudgeryfartsss!!!! Butt, wityh a 40 year career and 60 albums!!??!!how can you possibly expect to find any of the rally GOODE stuff??? Just randomly buy every album you can find? I did that for years & it was awful. I’d decided I would have to be content with the couple weird best-of albums & the random “DUCK?!no??”" stabs @ purchasing listenable Residents CDs I’d accumalteded.
Well buggy I sure was licky to happen upon this loaded butt full of Residenty music&c!! Now I learnmed that 1) they have way more goode songs thasn I evre DREMAET!!! 2) I know the names of some rally RALLY goode CDs that i TOTALLY neede to buy knowe!!! (i’,m like, not that “in” “to” “buying” “cds” butt cmone!! — 40 years & 60xty albums [or smething??] — they earned my $15 /cd… or whateverZ!!!!!!ya know~~!!!! ) (I’m sad to learn that they may be on their final tour right now.. I mean, I know the dudes are in their 60’s, which is awesome by the way, butt i wanted them to carry on forevr & evre…)
I still have more to listen to, but here’s where I’m at so far, for anybody EVRYYYBPDY whose CRUIOUS?!!
1)”Mark of the Mole” is very really good i think so. Way more than I’d expected from what I remember (not much) of the live show footage I’ve seen.
2)”Intermission” is totally coole aswell!! I never even heard of that one!
3)”Fingerprince” is good it’s bad it’s nice!! it’s like a genuine solid album of good listening@!!
4)Rev. Stangl says that “Demons Dance Alone” is their best “newy new” album butt I’m still quite partialled to the nearly bearly yearly newer “Animal Lover.”
Anysway, thass a LOT of new musics to listen to and I’m no even dunne sifting yet!!!
no. not their last tour. they go on & on like an old man in a bunny suit. butt hay, why do the fans no say, “well, i guess it really WAS homer flynn singing all along, seeing as he no longer hides his face on stage.!”??? wouldn’t you think, after 40 years, people would be excited? startled? huh? nobody even notices or cares?
